Year 10 Programme
This programme provides the opportunity for Y10 learners to attend work-based learning one day a week and follow a taster from the fifteen vocational areas on offer.
Description
Learners experience a new taster each half term and complete six in all during the academic year. Throughout the year learner are fully supported in collecting evidence for ASDAN and other qualifications.
Attendance
Learners attend for one day during Year 10.
Qualifications
Learners follow the NCFE Employability Skills Award.
Course Content
The focus of this programme is on learners developing practical skills. Recording (for qualification purposes) is deliberately kept to a minimum.
